Well this is my first visit back to Blogger since my undergrad days, but I figured I'd ressurect it to reflect on my all time favorite passion, sports! So here we go!
Recently in the news, Jerry Hairston Jr. has signed with the Washington Nationals for one year worth up to 2 million. The addition of Hairston, along with Jayson Werth in the outfield for the Nats gives them a solid vet who has been in the postseason rat race and a young player, who many believe to have potential. Will the losing fog clear over Nationals Park this season? One thing that is limiting the potential of the Nats is being in the ultra competitive NL East, where even if they're good, they could still be in last place or flip flopping with the Marlins while the Braves and Phillies duke it out for first. I like the move and the improvement of the pitching rotation, but the bullpen is still suspect and the losing ways are not that easy to get rid of, espicially in that dugout.
This is just a start of what we will feature on JJ's Sports Conncetion! We will be uploading pictures from attended sports events, videos of debates and forums, and much much more! Invite your friends, read on, and enjoy the world of sports!
